摘要

动脉粥样硬化(atherosclerosis, AS)是一种由炎症、脂质沉积和衰老等多种因素引起的血管慢性炎症疾病,是众多心血管疾病的病理基础。细胞外囊泡(extracellular vesicles,EVs)是细胞在生理或病理生理情况下分泌的膜性囊泡,在细胞间通信中发挥重要作用。大量研究发现,EVs通过调节血管炎症和血管外基质重塑等过程影响AS的发生和发展。本文综述了不同细胞来源的EVs在AS发生发展过程中的作用及其在AS治疗中的应用前景。

Abstract

Atherosclerosis (AS) is a chronic vascular inflammatory disease induced by multiple factors such as inflammation, lipid deposition, and aging, and serves as the pathological basis for diverse cardiovascular diseases. Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are membranous vesicles secreted by cells under pathological or physiological conditions, playing an essential role in intercellular communication. Extensive research has indicated that EVs affect the occurrence and development of AS by regulating vascular inflammation and extravascular matrix remodeling. This article reviews the role of EVs derived from various cell sources in the development of AS, as well as their application prospects in AS treatment.
